Are there game ideas hidden in picture books?
The game instructors at the Toy Library of Hong Kong Central Library will use the story of the picture book 'The King's Longevity Noodles' and simple materials to create different fun games for children and parents to play together.
Target audience: Children aged 4 to 8 and one parent
Quota: 20 families
Language: Cantonese
Fee: Free
1. Registration opens on 1pm, 17 June 2026.
2. Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis and will be closed when the quota is full. Please register with the child's name.
3. The content of the two sessions is the same, and each child will be accompanied by one parent.
4. Each child can only participate in one session per day, including the parent-child game workshop and game session.
5. Successful registrants will receive an email with activity details before the event. (Please note that the email may end up in your junk or spam folder.)
6. Reservers must check in with the Toy Library ten minutes before the reserved time slot. If the reserver has not checked in five minutes after the start of the reserved time slot, the spot will be allocated to a waitlisted person.
7. For hygiene reasons, all users (including children) must wear socks when entering the Toy Library.
